RAEN Optics is an independent, classics driven brand, aimed at bringing quality and authenticity to the boutique eyewear market. Our goal is to provide timeless, tangible, quality items that function within our active lifestyles and those of our consumers. We are designers who are determined to continually bring new and innovative products to the marketplace; created for and inspired by the lives we live.
At RAEN we strive to make an emotional connection with our demographic. We are not about excess. We strive to make the consumer feel a correlation between our advertising ideals and their own lives. They are one in the same. It’s a small planet and people are just people.
We are inspired by the humble and functional styling of classic products that were designed with functionality and durability as the first priority. We believe that when something is well designed, it will never go out of style. Balancing classically modern aesthetics with superior workmanship to create the complete package is what we are all about. Our frames are tediously built to last with handmade acetate, CR-39 or Polarized lens technology, and spring or five barrel hinges.
With RAEN’s 2010 collection we want to supply progressive versatility. Many of our handmade acetate frames are designed to look equally as good as a sunglass or a prescription optical. Depending on your personal choice and needs these frames could take you from a weekend at the beach, to the work desk, to a night on the town. We’ll leave that up to you. To us, all that matters is you look good while doing it, whatever “it” may be.
